AndyC
Hi all Thought I'd dig this out of the stash as I bought a Tristar Panzer I at Avon and thought I'd finish the prettier contemporary before tackling that one. The kit's a bit of a clunker in places but quite simple and eventually builds OK. The Italeri decals are quite nice and you can build a 1939 or 1940 German version in Grey or a Green Czechoslovak version. As I;ve just been to Prague, I was tempted by the latter but plumped for a Panver Grey one instead. Finished as a 12-Panzer Regiment machine in Vallejo, Tamiya and Mr Metal paints, with Flory washes and MiG powders and Mud. A fun build of one of the best looking early war tanks and which of course went on to be the undercarriage of several better known Wehrmacht fighting machines.
