Andrew Perren
Hello to All This is my latest completion and something different for me. Eduard 1/48 Hellcat Mk II from the Dual Combo Profipack release. The additions were a resin seat from Ultracast with moulded on belts and Resin wheels from Eduards Brassin range. Otherwise she is as it comes including etch, decals and masks from the kit. The aircraft is from 1844 Sqn FAA aboard HMS Indomitable, Pacific 1945. Painted with Testors Modelmaster enamels. I hope you like her. Constructive feedback is always welcome. Cheers Andrew.

heloman1
Very tasty indeed Andrew, I think you have captures the faded camo colours just right. You panel line shading for me is a little over stated but then I don't do it on my models (well not yet). Congratulations and thanks for sharing your pics.l Colin

moaning dolphin
Very nice rendition indeed, I love the paint work! Which Model Master paints did you use? I am trying to find decent match using their Acrylic range but am somewhat struggling! Thanks for posting, Bob

I am trying to find decent match using their Acrylic range but am somewhat struggling! Thanks for posting, Bob Thanks Bob. The colours I used were Sky, Dk Slate Grey from the bottle and for the Extra Dk Sea Grey I prefer to use Dk Sea Grey as the EDSG is too dark for me. Lightened all with either light grey of buff for the shadings. Hope that helps.

dfqweofekwpeweiop4
Nice cat! Everyone should build an Eduard Hellcat in either 1/72 or 1/48! It's like one of those 20 things to do before you die but in the modelling sense - ie, It's one of those 20 models to build before you die!' thanks Mike
