Mark
Hi all, I really should know this! But is the RAF Roundel type that was seen on post-war training aircraft, such as my 1/32 Spitfire Mk.XVIe shown below the Type D? If so are there any paint masks available? In 1/32 scale I can find Type A through to C1, but no D. Also the colour, as printed by Tamiya, is a lot brighter than the WWII schemes, is this correct? If so is RAF Roundel Blue from Xtracolor the correct shade? Cheers!!

Mark
Thank you!! I did not think of searching for the Mk.22/24 Spitfire. Ordered. Any idea on the colours? Is RAF Roundel Blue the correct shade for post war roundels?
Black Knight
Someone better than me can help with the colours. AFAIK the RAF went back to the brighter pre-WW2 shades of colours, so WW2 Insignia Blue will be too dark.
