3DStewart
On no, not another colour question! Forgive me as I'm a novice at armour modelling, usually modelling aircraft, but I would like to know what the correct colour(s) should be for this kit. I've seen Tamiya TS2 suggested for Europe and TS46 for North Arrica in the instructions of a larger scale kit, but it would be helpful if you could confirm the correctness or not of these and what the nearest Humbrol equivalents are. John
It depends on where and when. What theatre and time period are you considering? As ever, MAFVA is the best source : http://www.mafva.net/other%20pages/starmer%20camo.htm J

JackG
Given it's caliber, I have doubts it would be employed on the front lines in 1944 - but I'm not going to say never. Easy answer for Europe is the France 1940 campaign. Now with that date, you can look up the proper colour in the provided Starmer link. regards, Jack
Mike Starmer
For the BEF in France Khaki Green No.3 as basic colour. For Egypt and Libya 1939-42 Light Stone 61 basic. Khaki Green No.3 = Humbrol 5 x 155 + 1 x10 Light Stone 61 = 8 x 74 + 1 x 26. These are for the real colour, add a small amount of medium grey to the mixes for scale effect.
