Work In Progress
Not strictly modelling, but I know know how I am going to paint my Airfix Vamp http://reports.airrace.org/2015/2015.Jet.Gold.Results.Report.html
Mike
Nope... not modelling, but we have "Real Aviation", which is where I've moved it to. Perhaps the Vampire will be the new L-39 of air racing?
Ali62
What a cool looking Vampire..........now we will need to do one some how, some of the stencilling will need some decals making. noelh
Can only find one picture of it on the AOPA website. If you google N4861K vampire you get some weird stuff and pictures of an entirely different Vampire N115DH in RN colours. N4861K is green/grey Camo. I also note that it's ex Irish Air Corps 186. Hence the odd serial WD186 which was actually allocated to an unbuilt Vickers Valetta. I had no idea any ex IAC Vampires were still flying. Paul Bradley
The Iraqis had a similar scheme on their Vampires.
