Glad we made it :yahoo:

Well after taking with Lloyd (bad thing to do with a credit card and sitting in front of a computer)

I will either be building a

1/35th Academy MH 60L Blackhawk from Operation Gothic Serpent

or

1/48 Academy CH-53E as USMC HMH-466 Naked Lady

I didn't make you buy them.

Depending upon the state of my life and, more importantly, my state of mind when this one starts, I could be tempted to join in. I take it civil types are welcome? I seem to have accumulated quite a few EC135/145 kits in various guises.

Cheers,

Andrew

A helicopter is a helicopter no matter what colours or markings it wears Andrew :D

I have an S-61 in the stash and a couple of EC135 to do as civil examples so they may make an appearance here.

Not sure if it has been mentioned previously, but would the MC-22 Osprey be allowed in this GB since it is a tilt rotor and not a helicopter????

Excellent! Just have to decide which of 40 odd helo kits I can start and fail to complete in the build window!

that would average about 1 every 2 days. Plenty of time
Hehe, yeah... it usually takes me about 2 years to finish anything! 2 days? Can barely get the box opened in that time!

Just counted up the helo kits I have... For some reason I thought I had more!

the V-22 will count, but go with the Hound, you don't see many of them built up

Hmm, a civil Chinook. Unless I try that on in the Airliner GB. :D

Or maybe a Hind. Or a HueyCobra. Or a Huey. Or mumblemumble...

You could leave the Huey and hueycobra for the Huey family STGB :)

A civvie chinook would be good to see. I was thinking of the same for the airliners build but once the calendar is confirmed I may change and build a bell 212 for that one. In support of the Italian GB I might change my choices for this GB to a guardia di finanza NH-500.

It's good question and I guess the same goes for an autogyro not that I've seen many autogyro model kits.

Theres the Airfix 1/24 ''Little Nellie'', of James Bond, and models of the Cierva C30 as used by the RAF.

You'll have to consider the Fairey Rotodyne as well.
