stevej60
Hi folk,s, the next build for this one will be Airfix's B57G the background and title is explained in the link. When Modelzone closed my local store flogged off the three kit's at a tenner each so I bought all three, the B2 came to a sorry end when I dropped the damn thing right at the end of the build here on BM early last year, and the other two seemed destined to never get built but what better excuse than this GB. As soon as I finish "Run through the Jungle" I will make a start on this one and what better inspiration than John's(Canberra Kid) build which I have bookmarked for reference, box and sprue detail,s will arrive soon. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Operation_Shed_Light Edited September 13, 2015 by stevej60

Knight_Flyer
Look forward to the completed build. I almost submitted the Italeri B-57G but they messed up the markings despite having the box art showing Vietnam scenery. The decals they included were for training squadrons entirely based in the US.

trickyrich
very nice choice if I may say so! I have just gotten myself another one of these, though unfortunately the Italeri version, nice model but with raised panel lines! My last one had it's nose stolen! There is so good info on these aircraft but you will need to do a wee bit of searching as it can be a bit hard to find.

stevej60
Many apologies folk's I,ve pulled the plug on this one,I did a bit of wing assembly and general dry run,s and found some of the fit of part,s way beyond my patience to correct, the front engine nacelles were appalling the fuselage was warped and the general molding was poor compared to what I remember of the B2.so again sorry for the waste of time but I will be back with one possibly two other subject,s. That's too bad These things sometimes happen although I am starting to think maybe the B-57G has been jinxed.
