doorgunner
hello, I am converting a Mk II Revell Spitfire into an early Mk I in 32 scale. I am starting thinking how to do with both windscreen and canopy I wanted to sand smooth the first in its front part to eliminate the sign for the windscreen, then add a custom made decal to simulate the rectangular front frame. The canopy instead, was the flat non-domed one. It is available in any kit (for example to Hasegawa Mk I) or any aftermarket available please ?TIA ciao MAurizio

keith in the uk
The original Revell Spitfire MK1 from 1969 had a very flat canopy , Paragon also did a prototype conversion which included the early flat canopy although now out of production , I converted the Hasagawa MKVB back to an early Spitfire using the original Revell canopy see pics below. I have a spare canopy from the 69 kit if you need it.
