early MkI Spitfire flat canopy in 32nd scale ?

Recommended Posts

hello, I am converting a Mk II Revell Spitfire into an early Mk I in 32 scale.

I am starting thinking how to do with both windscreen and canopy

I wanted to sand smooth the first in its front part to eliminate the sign for the windscreen, then add a custom made decal to simulate the rectangular front frame.

The canopy instead, was the flat non-domed one. It is available in any kit (for example to Hasegawa Mk I) or any aftermarket available please ?
TIA ciao

MAurizio

The original Revell Spitfire MK1 from 1969 had a very flat canopy , Paragon also did a prototype conversion which included the early flat canopy although now

out of production , I converted the Hasagawa MKVB back to an early Spitfire using the original Revell canopy see pics below.

I have a spare canopy from the 69 kit if you need it.
