richellis
Had a cracking day out with the family at the tramway museum in Crich, trams run all day and you get as many rides as you want included in the price, my big complaint is the trams are crammed into the sheds and its dark meaning taking photos is a problem!Anyway my album is on Flickr Here but a few shots are below! First up the 3 runners for the day,Chesterfield No7, was used as a house after withdrawal, this year is displayed as a WW1 recruitment tramSONY DSC by richellis1978, on Flickr Sheffield 74, very rocky ride as its got a short wheelbase! SONY DSC by richellis1978, on Flickr London Transport 1622, very very smooth and comfortable! could have ridden this tram all day! SONY DSC by richellis1978, on Flickr Lastly Berlin 3006, with a wheelchair lift, didn't get to ride on this, request only and normally only runs if needed by someone with a disability SONY DSC by richellis1978, on Flickr Now a few from the sheds and displays SONY DSC by richellis1978, on Flickr SONY DSC by richellis1978, on Flickr SONY DSC by richellis1978, on Flickr SONY DSC by richellis1978, on Flickr SONY DSC by richellis1978, on Flickr

Rick Brown
Blimey, I haven't been there since the early nineties! Great place. Even has a couple of trams from the IoM if I remember rightly. Thanks for sharing! Rick.
richellis
There is a few early ones dotted about the site! Well worth a visit if you are in the area! If you have an old vehicle, pre 1974, then you can get in free if you will park it on the site!
Aeronut
I remember one of the Crich museum Tansport Extravaganza weekends in the 70's when people at the top of the Sherwood Foresters memorial (the tower above the quarry) were looking DOWN on to the Vulcan displaying over the museum. The noise bouncing off the quarry wall was incredible.
Skodadriver
I'm old enough to remember the trams running in service in both Aberdeen and Glasgow and Crich has been on my "must visit" list for decades. These brilliant photos have just bumped it several places higher! Thanks for sharing.
