GREG DESTEC
That looks great! I knew the Germans did this a lot with tank turrets, but wasn't aware any other nation adopted it. Nice little dio.

Nice little dio. Thank you Greg. Yes, there are lots of sherman turret bunkers. The yankees thought the nazis could come back, so did many in france, netherlands and belgium.
The_Lancaster
Absolutely stunning build! Really interesting subject! Though, I hate to point out, the mantlet of the gun appears to be upside down! Though it is a really nice build! The foliage around the turret itself is effective.

Stashaholic Steve
Not sure that these were actually turret emplacements. I've seen a couple of them on my own travels around the Ardennes and they look to me more like turrets mounted on plinths post-war as monuments. Regardless, it's a nice piece of work. Perhaps a figure would give it a bit more sense of scale, and add an extra dimension of interest.
Head in the clouds.
Now that is different, and a fantastic build, I was not aware such bunkers existed so have learned something new today.
Arniec
Nice one. There are some tank Bunkers left in The Netherlands as well. There are a few to be found around Arnhem. Cheers,
