logical
I was in the local Warhammer shop (they changed the name from GW) today with my eldest. He's taken up 40k again. I thought I'd ask for some advice on weathering. Mainly to get a dirty, rusty, grimy engine. They recommend their new technical paint. I bought Typhus Corrosion. Worked great. Had a little grit in it to give texture. Combined with the Tamiya weathering powders and a wash the half of the engine I built so far looks great I definitely would recommend some. CurrantBunbury
Useful to know. Thanks for the recommendation.
Kuro Nezumi
I second that recommendation. I used Typhus Corrosion on a steampunk-ized KV-2 and it give the model a truly grimy, used look.
logical
I used it on half a FW-190 BMW engine. Combined with a wash and the Tamiya weathering makeup kits it looks great Unsure how far to go with Dirty though
