Thanks for sharing Cheers Mixup, re weathering etc: I used a pencil, dry brushes of olive drab, alluminium, dark earth, gunmetal. I did a black wash with some of the kids old water colours and sealed it all with Matt varnish. Followed by some dark earth slapped on here and there.
