1/48 Dewoitine D.520 + Citroen 11CV

Recommended Posts

Very nice D-520. About Citroen - in Poland it was known as BL-11 not 11 CV. My uncle had that one in sixties - he even made a tour from Krakow to Paris and back (more surprising :) ), returning via Alps and Vienna in June-July 1968,,,, - just before the Soviet invasion on Czechoslovakia.

Cheers

shame Tamiya did not follow up, least another 10 WW2 French aircraft could be tooled up

Bloch, Arsenal, Breguet.....not only time for up-to-date 1/48 injection kits of French WW2 stuff but also post WW2, like Mystere, Super Mystere, Ouragan and Vautour....

yes, has elegant lines, like a Spitfire without elliptical wings :)

I was thinking this looked like they based it on the spitfire. It's a very nice looking aircraft. Nice job by the way.
