Parabat
Superb examples of the early, light and nimble Messer's before they got up-armoured and up-gunned. Love the splinter camo, very nicely done.
Duncan B
Another fantastic slice of 109 history on display. I think I'd happily pay an entry fee to see the whole collection The subject of the early Bf109's is a bit of a minefield but I think I'm right in saying that most experts now agree that the first batches supplied to Spain were a mix of prototypes (V3 and V4 for example) and 16 Anton's so I think 6 o10 was an Anton if I remember correctly. Bob Henry
More outstanding work !! I noticed that you used an old Hobbycraft kit. I have the old kit for the Bf 109 "C" version. Do I have to modify the nose (spinner) on this kit or is it basically correct ? Thanks for any info that you can share. Bob H.

AFAIK the spinners on the Hobbycraft B, C, D kits are correct here you find some info on early 109s http://bioold.science.ku.dk/drnash/model/spain/bf109.html and for those who want to do a correct D version, here´s a nice article by Lynn Ritger http://109lair.hobbyvista.com/index1024.htm Edited August 7, 2015 by Reini78
