Very nice, I was on Invincible in'93 and I am pretty certain that both the 814 & 849"A" machines were in the lighter grey by then. The darker grey is in line with 849"A" on 'Lusty" in '88 ? Ship did a 9 month trip to Far East in '92 (849 & 800) both got to "play with the F-15s out of Okinawa! And '93 represented the start of the Adriatic trips with the civil war in Bosnia. ( our "chummy" ship being the USS America both in '93 & '95) - so loads of opportunities to pose your model alongside some US subjects.

As Mark says, impressive build, esp considering the "repair" work required before you commenced and great finish.
