Ratch
The 1st Northamptonshire Yeomanry operated Valentines during 1941. In the period 1941-2 they became part of the 6th Armoured Division. During World War Two the Regiment remained in the United Kingdom and from 1941 – 1942, elements of the Brigade were assigned duties as part of the Coats Mission, the plan to evacuate the Royal Family in the event of a German invasion. The 2nd Northamptonshire Yeomanry visited Linney Head, Castle Martin, Pembrokeshire from February 1st to the 13th, 1941. They fired between the 2nd to the 11th using 2 pdr Valentines from Westbury, Wiltshire. They visited a second time from January 24th to February 3rd 1942, using Valentines and Matildas from Brandon, East Anglia. They visited Anney Head in December 1942 using 6 pdr Valentines and Crusaders.
Natter
Always nice to see braille scale models, you don't appreciate how small they are until you build one.
