Norman Posted July 26, 2015 Share Posted July 26, 2015 Hello I recently finished this model after quite a lengthy build due partly to the nature of the moulding's being very detailed with tiny parts and large sprue gates making things somewhat hazardous during construction, the kit is beautifully molded with lovely detail, a complete chassis with engine etc, to this i added the Black Dog resin set which consists of some stunning pieces to add into stowage etc, i wanted to try the new shading methods employed by MiG Jimenez and his team which is basically done by painting the vehicle in an undercoat then a base color highlights /shadows all in acrylic then weathering in enamels , i was very surprised i had so much control over the level of finish and as i wanted a very 'worn' in service look i employed most of the techniques explained in the magazine series MiG produces, i hope to employ these into my aircraft and ship or sci-fi models in the future Anyway here she is http:// http:// http:// http:// http:// http:// http:// 13 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
