I believe all surviving F-106As received the blown canopy hood in the 1970s, including the earlier needles-and-dials instrumented jets (e.g. Montana ANG).

A few surviving F-106As with tape instruments (e.g. 87th FIS Red Bulls at K I Sawyer, and later the New Jersey ANG) got the GE rotary cannon mod.

There did exist an AM resin gun fairing for the old Monogram Six. Can't remember who made it but the gizzards would have to be scratch built based on the drawings.

How I'd like one of these jets in 1/32 scale ! Would be sublime.

Missing Link Models (or a name very close to it) rings a bell for the old 20mm AM gun faring? It's a pity Trumpeter didn't go for a gun-armed aircraft in their kit, I think (I might then have managed to justify to myself adding one to a stash which contains five Monogram F-106s already...)

All the gun equipped F-106s had the unframed canopy installed during the mod.

Additionally, the gun installation was only fitted to jets with the vertical tape displays in the cockpit.
