Andy K
Seeing there are a couple of other SS-23's on here I thought I would post mine. It's nowhere NEAR as good as Andy Moore's model though Edited September 22, 2017 by Andy K

Andy Moore
That looks awesome mate. You've got an incredible result from what looked like a swine of a kit. It looks great with the missile fully up - I couldn't do that with the Hobbyboss one as the actuators weren't long enough ( I should have rebuilt them really) Wish I'd turned the wheels as well - it gives it a lot more character Looking forward to reading the article Andy
Andy K
Cheers guys! Andy yes it was a PIG of a kit and took me over 12 months to get it together. As you can imagine it will be a loooooong article

charley420
Looks great. Are miniman kits really that much of a challenge?
Andy K
Looks great. Are miniman kits really that much of a challenge? I can only speak about my experiences with this particular kit and it was challenging. Miniman ARE one of the better manufacturers out there but resin kits by their very nature do throw up some issues. I remember trying to build an Accurate Armour CET and gave up as it was THAT bad (although it was an early kit of theirs)
charley420
Hmm had my eye on their tractor units and low loaders
Andy K
Hmm had my eye on their tractor units and low loaders All I can say is try one but take your time when building a resin kit and be prepared for extra work. Also check that ALL the parts are in the box as there were a few missing that I had to make from scratch. I did contact Miniman about a deformed part which they did replace but it was'nt until later on in the build I noticed the bits missing but I heard nothing from them again so be warned.
