Alclad Metalizers (Engine and Components)
Tamiya Gloss Black (Frame and Front Suspension Struts)

Come on! Fire it up and post a video of that lovely sounding megaphone exhaust. Oh, hang on, this is a plastic model? Seriously, Imster, thank you for an amazing display of modelling talent. Now I have to choose which one of your final photos I want to add to my desktop.

Cheers,

Tom

That looks super, and so do the photos with the grey background (I've never understood the use of royal blue for model photos).

:worthy: :worthy: :worthy:

Kind regards,

Adam

Thanks all for your kind comments, now gotta think of the next kit to build.... It will most likely be a car as I like to alternate between 2 wheels and 4 wheels, maybe I will finish of my Mazda 787B..

Wow Tom! Its an honour for my build to be on your desktop :)

Thanks Adam, yes I agree the blue was way too vibrant and also messed up my camera settings so from now on it will be grey backgrounds and perhaps I might fiddle around with black and shiny/mirror backgrounds

And they look great, too, thanks to your photography. I picked 2 and added them to the slideshow I used for my screensaver. The pictures go full screen and look amazing.

Cheers,

Tom

That is just superb, the finish looks so real. The picture you that show the fuel lines (4th from bottom I think) actually looks as though there is fuel in them. God job

Mate I wish I could take the credit for that but its actually some of the kit piping, I couldnt believe it because Tamiya have this habit of just using their standard black tubing all the time.

Magnificent build, congratulations. I followed your build thread with great interest. There's lots of great small detail to catch the decerning eye. Great pics too.

Thanks Colin, I'm glad that you have a discerning eye because anytime I show some of my builds to my mates its so annoying because none of them have a clue the lengths I went to make things look the way they are. They all just look at it and say oh thats nice etc lol

Impressive build, the detail is outstanding

Thanks for sharing.

Richard

Thanks very much Richard :)

I love this kit, superb job!

Excellent detailed build and finish, have just got the chain set, so that completes everything needed to start the kit, just need the skill now to get close to this as the benchmark for what can be done.
