keefr22
Tremendous work again Andi - I wish the bits of my models that I'm dissapointed with looked half as good as that carb...!! Keith
kpnuts
You are not a human, I repeat you are not human, tell the truth it is not humanely possible to create little masterpieces like that and then to add them to the big masterpiece, no, no, no, not human, that's the only answer, now where do I get one of those robots, please, pretty please do tell. Little Andi
Ah, I see you've met Andi too....!!! Ducking & running for cover... hold the door!! Oi! ................... I resemble that remark .... ................ Actually I was just looking for that piccy of you me and Steve; from the Nationals a million years ago to prove that I was-is-am! ...................... But, luckily for you I couldn't find it... Cheers bloke.

Little Andi
Here we go then ............... the final pic's of this portion of the build. The on-screen enlargements have thrown up the odd area that needs touching up; but by and large I'm calling this bit done! It's been quite an intensive little build, so I shall place this on hold whilst I appreciate projects new. But in order to call it done, I shall just post the pic's and be done with it .................................................. Just a few detail shots of areas that haven't appeared before..................... And by way of an "Ends-piece"................... Cheers all ......................... it's been fun!
keefr22
Absolutely fffff..............lipping incredible Andi ! I really don't think I have ever seen more realistic paint, textures & weathering on any model before - completely & utterly wonderful work ! I'd love to get to see this for real one day ! Merry Christmas & a Happy New Year ! Keith

Nomore Shelfspace
That's brilliant, it's just 100% real. All those textures and colours make it look like art!
triumphfan
Superb result Andi. Summing up in one word..... 'Masterclass'
caterhamnut
It has all been said already - staggering work. As an owner of a 68 VW camper van, I recognize every style of rust flake, paint finish, streak and crust. Absolutely no way of telling it is not a full size, 'real' engine. Inspiring. Codger
Masterful Andi. Now get another kit and leave this as a display engine next to it. This is museum work.

larchiefeng
It definitely looks like a used and abused engine that's seen better days. Excellent work Andi!

Pouln
Bit late but just read the whole thing up to here. Words fail. Lovely how you made this image of a well used engine. I would think that you fooled us and just showed pics of the real thing. Amazing stuff. Edited January 22, 2016 by Pouln
Will Vale
Not much to add to the above, but wow! That engine is a work of art. I saw one of these (not very well) built up the other day and it was massive, I had no idea Will
