richellis Posted July 11, 2015 Share Posted July 11, 2015 2 of my builds, Im a fan of Welsh haulage so have a couple in progress, the long Volvo F12 rigid was started first, but I was so impressed with my custom decals, from Chris Moxham I ordered a second set! The rigid is the Italeri Volvo F16, but 4cm longer and a Scania tag axle set up to give a 6x2. The flatbed is scratch built, and the truck is down rated from the F16. It will get a load if I can work out how to do 1:24 hay or Straw bales! I plan a drawbar trailer for this at some point so the hitch is there, the chassis is fully wired through. Needs the cab interior finishing, windows, mirrors and side guards making. Next to it is a tractor chassis, this will be an earlier F12 (with round headlamps). the chassis has been shortened to give a 3.2m wheelbase, more suited to a UK truck.
