cjhm
This is my take on the Airfix Fouga CM.170 Magister in 1:72 Recent reissue of the 1970s kit, mould seems to have held up OK and it fitted together neatly but it's basic by modern standards Plan was to build the Eire Silver & Orange version but after the silver took ages to dry (Vallejo Model Air) for some reason and many failed masking attempts I gave up and added a mix of kit and spares box decals to make a what-if USAF version Hope you enjoy, more of my models here: https://cjhm.wordpress.com/ and here: https://twitter.com/cjhm_models/
noelh
Nicely done. But knowing the USAF they would have wanted ejection seats and bigger engines. Like the one off Fouga 90. But it gives me an idea for painting one in speculative South Vietnamese colours.
KiwiRho
Cool little silver bird, isn't it. Love that "v" tail. Great finished kit. Well done indeed.

The Turbomeca Marbore engine which powered the Magister was the basis of the J69 engine which powered the Cessna T-37 trainer
lunarhighway
Very nice! looks good in usaf markings. The rivets are perhaps a bit of a givaway, but otherwise one could assume this is a much more modern kit. the small details give it a delicate and bussy appearance like the real thing. I remember them flying past as a kid whent they where still in use with the Belgian airfoce. More gracefull than powerfull, but with their unmistakeable shilouett and whining sound definately a unique jet. So the Fouga is on my to do list, either the airfix or heller versions (wich apparently are two different kits) or something more modern if i can find one for a reasonable price. very inspirational build!
