Gekko_1
I've finally been able to work out how to paint and upload new skins into War Thunder. Being able to do side profile art is OK, but I've always wanted to be able to see my designs in flight. It took me 4 hours of reading and listening to YouTube videos before I understood what to do and believe it or not it was "The Mighty Jingles" who finally explained the upload procedure in simple enough English that I understood it! BIG THANKS to "pathaber" for making the skinning template for the P-63A available for everybody for free! http://live.warthunder.com/post/181001/My very first attempt turned out like this.................. I called it the Peregrine Falcon as an RAF designation for a USAAF aircraft. I realised I had the aircraft code back to front after I loaded it into the game. So, with a first attempt under my belt I then went ahead and tried for something a little better. Olivia! Because I haven't worked out how to include the damaged file yet, when "Olivia" got hit in-game she ended up looking like this! Anyway, my first thought upon seeing this was that she had received a replacement wing off an American P-63! So, so far so good. I'm happy with the result. Next I'll either do one in a desert scheme or an Aussie one......................
Gekko_1
RAAF P-63A Supa snake! First test render.................................. woops! Roundels too big, nose art upside down! Second render. Better! Next will either be a desert version or another aircraft type? Richard.

Gekko_1
Thanks Xenol! Coming up later today will be a desert version. Then I'll move on to B-25.
Gekko_1
First up I decided to do a little revision of Olivia in her SEAC markings....... Next I began experimenting with a desert scheme..................... I know SEAC markings shouldn't be seen on an African based fighter, but they look so good! I was amazed at just how well this scheme blended into the background during play............ Next I did a little work on the skin so that it wasn't quite so heavily weathered, then went about creating a more suitable set of markings for an African based RAF fighter.................... Next, instead of a B-25, I've changed my mind, I'm going to do a desert Mossie!

Gekko_1
Err, is that the DG and G one? Not au fait with the slang I'm afraid! OK, I'll need you to explain what camouflage scheme and markings you mean for "Italian campaign" and I'll see what I can do.
