NAVY870
I have one of these in the box of doom. I know not what they did with it but the wing fairings on the fuselage are so out of whack fitting the wing in nigh on impossible without hacking and relocating bits to make it work. Bit dissapointing as its a loverly little aeroplane
Homebee
Source: http://www.specialhobby.info/2017/08/special-hobby-newsletter-09.html Quote (...) You might possibly miss the L-39ZA Albatros kit (no SH48167) that was in fact already announced in the last instalment of Special Hobby newsletter. Well the truth is that it is the case of many obstacles in the way and the preparation work for this kit have been rather really quite difficult and demanding. Therefore, it was decided to postpone the kit release date by a month to October. (...) V.P.
ReccePhreak
I will have to wait and see if they do anything new to their L-39ZA kit, or if it's the same old stuff, WITHOUT the injected canopy. I have the MPM L-39C, which I wanted to convert to a Thai L-39ZA, but I may just wait to see what the AMK and/or the Trumpeter kits are like. Homebee
This looks like a new fuselage sprue... Old - source: https://www.super-hobby.com/products/L-39C-NATO-Trainer.html The new one, inspired but definitely sharper than the old one: http://www.specialhobby.net/2017/10/sh32065-fokker-dii-132-sh48167-l-39zaza.html V.P
SleeperService
Looks like they've tweaked the intakes as well. Worth a punt I think as the wing fuselage joint seems to have been modified somewhat.

Well, not that "new". Those parts have been included in past kits, maybe though not all of them together...
ICMF
Those wheels are terrible. Aircraft tires are supposed to be round like a motorcycle, not flat like a car.

DIO
They look fine. They are not flat at all. Not even on the picture (I have the real thing too).

The kit of jet aircraft L-39 Albatros in 1/48 scale we are going to release under cat. no. 11121. Quote Limited Edition kit named Evolution that focuses on the L-39 Albatros machines, will contain decals for 2 interesting colour schemes of both C and ZO versions, Russian and Hungarian aircraft. The name of the kit refers to the colourful markings of machines with animal motifs – the Russian one with a golden Chinese dragon, and the Hungarian with a shark motif. It is also the name of the airplane itself - Albatros. The instruction sheet for the Hungarian aircraft painting also …reflects faded and repaired camouflage colours. August new item, cat. no. 11121.
