Reini78
Heinkel He280 V3, old Eduard kit built oob, seatbelts added, the scissor link on the front wheel damper was taken from an Eduard Bf110 kit, Gunze RLM02 for painting, clear Gunze H20 and Tamiya XF86 for finish. One of Hobby Boss´s very nice 262 kits, engineering and fit are Tamiya-like. Model was built oob, seatbelts and antenna wire added, Gunze Acrylics used, 74/75/76 camo on the early 170xxx Me262 series. The Werknummer came from the sparesbox because the kit doesn´t provide one.The model shows the V056 which had different lookings during its career and was used mainly for aerodynamic tests concerning the later two-seat nightfighter. This is my father´s interpretation of how it could have looked around March ´45. He spared the wool threads on the black tail, not enough nerves for that work Tamiya Me262A-1a kit built oob, showing the a/c of Heinz Bär, III./EJG2, Lechfeld March 1945 Same kit as above but in the livery of Rudolf "Rudi" Sinner´s a/c, III./JG7, Brandenburg-Briest, March 1945 Chose this scheme because it looks cool and Sinner was one of the Austrian aces in the Luftwaffe. Hobby Boss kit Me262A-1a/U3 recon version built oob, NAGr. 6 The nose gun broke off during assembly and was replaced with a piece of an injection needle. My dad wasn´t completely satisfied how the camo turned out, maybe he is building the model again some day. Tamiya Me262A-2a kit built oob, KG51
