Jonny
I was surprised to learn cia Flypast magazine that PA474 suffered a fire in the Starboard outer engine on May 7th. She recovered safely at Coningsby and the team is assessing damage and identifying what components need to be replaced. They *hope* to get her back in the air in 2015. Sorry if this is old news but I hadn't heard of this before today.
Simon Cornes
Hi Jonny Thanks for the thread but I think there may be a thread on here somewhere about the incident aalready. I expect she'll be out of commission for most of the year but I noticed that she should be back in the air before the end of the year. It would be interesting to know what the damage is though.
