whitestar12chris Posted June 29, 2015 Share Posted June 29, 2015 Hi all heres my white metal, brass and resin build from the non injected group build, finally got some better photos of sorts. the discovery is just over a foot long, did have a slight problem with displaying her, originally had single support to engine section as this was were the main weight was but over a couple of days the spine started to droop, not the greatest connection, brass rod into white metal collar, even super glue wouldnt hold it so added front support to command module with acrylic rod, rear support steel rod as acrylic wouldnt take the weight. Base filled with plaster to stop model toppling over, one heavy lump. All paints humbrol enamels with kristal clear cockpit windows over painted detail. Monolith and ape man garage kit from portugal.
