Just wondering is the Fujimi tomcat good? Would the fine molds one that comes as part of a magazine better?

It's a very good kit, with good details and shapes that are not bad. The Hasegawa kit is better but I like some areas in the Fujimi kit more. The cockpit for example is IMHO more effective even without the PE parts included in the Hase kits

The Fine Molds kit promises to be even better, but I've not seen it yet (mine is still waiting to be delivered from Japan). The FM kit though represents a D while the one shown here is an A. The Fujimi D suffers from inaccurate rear engine areas although the exhuasts are actually better than the Hasegawa ones. As the TF30 parts are included in all boxes, I usually build my Fujimi B/D kits as late A, with the later naca style gun gas vents.

For a D the Fine Molds kit is probably the best around, with Hasegawa following
