Andy Dyck
Hi , You have to stir it up very well the it will shine Gold. I had the same problem. Maybe one or two Drops of water help too. I want to use it for the Phantom from Revell the Blue metallic one from the Last flight. But didnt fit with the Color of the decals. Regards Andy
The dragonborn
Revell aqua paints have a bad habit of going off or drying,, even when new and sealed.
logical
It's a pain to airbrush too. I tried several times and had no luck. But it matches the decals for my F-16 perfectly.

PergerCRO
Stick a stick and give it a stir Edit: Not wanting to sound obtuse there Don't worry, it's me Friend of mine gave mi some advice and it worked, My gold is back All I did was mix paint with a little liquid for cleaning glass, and I give it a stir (i think so) and goldy is back. Haha.

Mike
If it won't airbrush, the chances are it's because the pigment, or rather the gold flakes in this case, aren't sufficiently fine to pass through your airbrush's tip. Try a larger needle if you can, or give up and get another paint to use as your gold
Albeback52
It's perfectly usable. I used it on a model of a Gulf Air Airbus A330.A little diluting and a LOT of stirring it came up fine. I don't airbrush but, it brushed on well . Allan
Deadman Disciple
I have the same problem, I used one of those little purple spoons from the Cadburys Egg & Spoon, as stirring it with a thick cocktail stick took forever. Just turn the spoon upside down & use the handle & a couple of mins later the gold will come through. S5 modeller
I have quite a few paints from this range, and no matter what colour I open, they all look like this. They turn the right colour after LOTS of stirring.
PergerCRO
Looks like Revell paint are the worst of them all !!

alan1302
Looks like Revell paint are the worst of them all !! Other than this issue - which a bit of a shake and a stir will solve then I've found Revell paints really good. There are a lot worse than Revell paints about. John
It's actually a good, brushable metallic gold. It just needs *major* stirring to get it usable. Worth persevering though. John
