Looking for shiny gold or chrome

Hi there, I was hoping that someone would have pictures of models finished in either a very shiny/reflective gold or chrome.

Preferably a tamiya acrylic or halfords rattle can?

Thanks in advance

Alclad Chrome is very good, but extremely delicate a finish. Alclad gold is ok too. I've got a bottle or two of Vallejo liquid gold (or something like that), which looks perfect, but now I have a Bandai 1:12 C-3P0, my vinyl Threepio is unlikely to get painted

You'd need a laquer/cellulose cleaner but it doesn't have to be the alclad one. You can get it cheap on ebay.

I've just used the new AK Xtreme metal range and they're as good as Alclad but enamel based so you can clean your airbrush with white spirit.

Have a look at the Alclad 2.com site as it will give you all the info and has a gallery of completed models including some of mine from years back ! Cellulose is more than good enough for cleaning everthing up after application. MODeller
