dwh Posted June 4, 2015 Share Posted June 4, 2015 Just purchased this magazine from WHS at £4.99, primarily aimed at the model railway market, as it is published by Model Rail. It is a magazine with lots of info regarding all modes of painting, care of instruments etc. Also has lots of tips/tricks., well worth the money in my opinion. viscount806x Posted August 7, 2015 Share Posted August 7, 2015 I also spotted this yesterday in WH Smith's reading rooms and thought it a very worthwhile effort even though I'm not consciously a rail person. There is a lot to be said for gathering together in one place such information as types and uses of different paint and reviews of each manufacturers offerings. Some excellent stuff also on airbrushing. Even for a cynical hoary old kit basher such as myself, I can see the value of having this to hand. A small shame that they didn't include that excellent paint/thinner matrix which is so useful and which would have only taken up a page, that would have given it almost completeness.
