Chris Jephcott
Oh bother. More money gone. There I was happily going along... And then this! To be fair though, my WNW collection is pretty complete now (I only need 5 more kits!!) ... So what's one more? cmatthewbacon
Time for me to take the plunge, I reckon. If I was them, I'd hold onto it until the centenary of the first flight just in time for Christmas next year... bestest, M.
SeaVenom
Great news. I always thought WN would do the Camel one day.
Rob G
After all their denials, this one had better be exceptional, or they will be crucified. I'm sure they'll rise to the challenge. Edited June 3, 2015 by Rob G
CharlieNZ
I got the email from Richard about this yesterday, I must admit I haven't got around to building the Bristol Fighter yet, but this would be one to add to the stash. Not generally a fan of WW1, but who can turn down a Sopwith Camel?

Phil Evans
This is now listed on their website with the catalogue number 32070 among the normal product list with a couple of CAD renderings as well as the original diagram from the News page. Hopefully this is a sign that it's one stage nearer to completion. Phil

Homebee
New pics: http://earlyaero.com/wingnut-wings-releases-first-test-build-photos-upcoming-132-sopwith-camel/ http://www.aeroscale.co.uk/modules.php?op=modload&name=News&file=article&sid=22319&mode=thread&order=0 Sopwith Camel tooling progress We were pleased to be able to exhibit a built up test shot of our upcoming Sopwith Camel model at Scale Models Expo on 23 & 24 April. Response from modellers was excellent and we are very much looking forward to being able to release this model (just as soon as possible after we are happy with it) later this year. If you are attending the Shizuoka Hobby Show this weekend then you should be able to inspect it yourself on the Beaver Corporation trade stand. For everyone else, we have attached a few photos for you. ---------------------------------------------------- Wingnut Wings has released the first test build photos of their highly anticipated 1/32 Sopwith Camel model kit. Coordinator Richard Alexander states that a built up test shot of the model was exhibited at Scale Models Expo on April 23rd and 24th, which received an “excellent” response from modelers. Alexander also says that the model will be featured at this weekend’s Shizuoka Hobby Show in Japan, where it is slated to appear on the Beaver Corporation trade stand. The kit is expected to be released later this year. V.P. Edited May 11, 2016 by Homebee
