Thats it. Definitely the best way to find faults with your builds is to take pictures with a macro zoom camera! :)

Cheers until next time

Bye for now.

Great build Warren see what you meant about the poor quality stand it looks way to big to hold the ship straight but still had fun watching your speed build with this :goodjob:

Very tasty Warren, it's been fun joining in with your build.

Keith

Thanks for that Keith. Yes, the stand is an abomination which in no way, shape, or form holds the model in place.

Warren

Very nice result, pin sharp detailing.

I'll remember this one when it's my turn!

Al

Glad to be of service Al. :)

Good work :popcorn::popcorn::popcorn:

Very nice!

Looking good, love the T23, they just look so busy, and your model captures that really well.

Nice job Warren, makes me want to take mine down off the shelf of doom

Cracking build Warren, very nice ship.

Thanks for that. It could be busier, but that will do until the next Type 23 build.

I've been keen to model a type 23 ever since exercising with HMS Richmond in the south China sea in 2011. We had her Merlin come alongside for a HIFR (Helicopter Inflight Refuelling) evolution when I was part of the ship's flight on HMNZs Te Mana. I think the Merlin was probably burning fuel faster than we were pumping it, but it was an impressive sight.

You've done a very nice job of this, all the PE work looks very nice and crisp and clean.

Excellent stuff - this is the kind of build that tempts me to do a ship kit!

Dermot

Thanks Dermot.

It is not my best work but it came out pretty well considering

.

Warren

Love the detail at that scale. Impressive work.

Well done!

Thanks mate!

I will have a look for some info on the Richmond and give it a crack a bit later.

Cheers and thanks
