Harfoot
I have always wanted to build this kit and was really pleased when it was re-released this year, i read Tamiya first released this kit in 1968! ( that what a google search came up with ). I am build the kit straight out of the box with the the driver figure, Graham Hill in it, the figure is brilliant it even has his Peter Niven moustache. Paints are from Hiroboy, they make a pack with a small pot of yellow. Really surprised on the crispness of the plastic pieces from these old molds. Thanks for looking
roymattblack
A great kit. Just a tip... Build up as much of the cockpit as you can,, REMOVE the rear tub wall, fit the tub top piece and sort out any seams etc, then paint the tub. When it's dry, slide the cockpit in from the rear, then fit the back wall. That way, you get a lovely neat body, even paint and no glue joins... ...and no faffing about masking the interior to paint the body. I built this kit a few years ago. Flippin' lovely model. Have fun - Roy. Edited May 30, 2015 by roymattblack
