Knight_Flyer
Got to admit I am tempted to build an "eggplane". They are weird in a good way and at the same time kinda fun. OK, so here's my one... they look eggscellent Seriously, the paint job on the Bats F-16 looks really good

Ace From Outer Space
These are fun and look great! How long have eggplanes been around? I'm sure I my dad bought me one from somewhere like Tesco when I was a child in the eighties.
Knight_Flyer
I'm not sure they've been around that long. I still have a Hasegawa catalog from the 90's and no mention of eggplanes in there.

I'm sure I my dad bought me one from somewhere like Tesco when I was a child in the eighties. It seems some of them have been around since the late 80s if this database is accurate. Yes they are fun - highly recommended for some model making R&R.
