PhantomBigStu Posted May 26, 2015 Share Posted May 26, 2015 Finished this morn, a few things went wrong, aerial and pitot broke, only just noticed that the upper camo is wrong in front of the canopy, and also failed to show the constrast between the cowling and the rest of the plane, humbrols suggestion of 50/50 RLM65 and white was not enough 8 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Darby Posted May 26, 2015 Share Posted May 26, 2015 I broke the guns on mine and the paint came away from the canopy framing. Also, I didn't do the top cowling as it should be. Don't worry we can get through this with the help of the Von Werra Action Group. A charity for those with 109 difficulties. They meet in town halls across the land every second Monday of the month. wayne 0 Posted May 27, 2015 Share Posted May 27, 2015 Good stuff. I like that it is posed in flight, and it looks like you have managed to get plenty of the stencils on it. This was the first kit I made after a 20 year gap. I have made a few Airfix 109's and still break the antennae mast and other small parts. Try making your own mast from stretched sprue.
