They may well be 36 inch, as the roundel is 35 inch for comparison. The maybe faded Grey or weathered white.

This later shot and the other option in the kit, has smaller codes. Possibly 7 Sq SAAF, not 6 sq as listed.

Given the harsh environment, you might just want to carefully overpaint the codes with white.

This is interesting

Blackbird model do this on a sheet

But i doubt you want to stump up just for some white codes.

see http://www.britmodeller.com/forums/index.php?/topic/234945215-new-148th-scale-blackbird-models-hurricane-decals/

There are not that many options for the IID, some were used in the UK by 184 and 137 sqs, some in SEAC by 5 and 20 Sq, and a few ended up with the Soviets.

note also wing panel layout, the Hase wing is the IIC type, IID only has the 1 smaller rear door, and no bulges.

Note that IWM photo is of very early airframes, since three of them still have the 1940/1-style fuselage roundel and fin flash. Judging by their tone, it also seems possible that the undersides were in Sky, not Azure Blue.
