Recommended Posts

Hi all,

here my latest bulid: Eduards nice F-4C/D Phantom II in 1:48. Add the wohle range of Eduards photo etched parts, 480th TFS markings by AirDoc, white stencils by Ikarus, the Aires Cockpit set and intake covers by Quickboost. I think there is no doubt, this is be the best F-4D kit in scale 1:48.

Well done getting all those decals on without silvering!

Excellent piece of work, even compared to your usual standards.

That is an impressive beast. It just screams Phantom! from every angle. I also like how the white stencilling works so well. I think I'll rewatch these pictures a couple of times today.

Wow....just wow. Absolutely beautiful all the way around. I'm working on this kit now and I'm really going to need you to tell me how you got the Aires cockpit to fit because I couldn't get mine to come remotely close to closing up with the wheel well installed...and thats with thinning it and the cockpit tub as thin as rice paper.
