John
Continuing my new-found interest in WWII 1/48th scale vehicles, I picked up the Dingo for a very good price at Carronade in Falkirk a couple of weeks ago.No box photos, I'm afraid, as the kit was "dehydrated" to fit into the small bag I had with me but it's a little beauty and I've already undercoated the main parts with the same Light Stone mix I'm using on my desert Bedford MWD. No particular reason for the choice of undercoat colour other than it was to hand when I was examining the kit. There is one marking option, Olive Drab in North Western Europe post D-Day. My current planned builds don't have an OD example thus far, so that fits in nicely. I'll probably use some of my dwindling stock of Humbrol 108 WW1 Green for the OD.I've also ordered the Tamiya Universal Carrier and British Infantry set from Wonderland Models so I foresee a Summer of military modelling coming up!John
John
Actually, on the subject of Olive Drab I bought this a Perth a few weeks ago. Might be a good opportunity to try it out: John
