foxy
Hi. Another Russian tank, a light amphib recce tank, will be done OOB, in early colours. Built up the main chassis and added detail before spraying valego primer Russian green. Then two coats of Valego lighter Russian green. First the box picture. Very easy to build this one, and no problems. The most fiddly bit of this kit is the tracks. This is how they come,(not painted of course)!!!!!. After an afternoons work and some measuring for track lengths, A spot of Tamiya metal grey. 'Hey presto'. Some loose for the drive and idler wheels should see this on its way. As at the top, will be an early one as they went out of commission fast. The Finns captured many of these, so another is possible. More soon. foxy

foxy
Thanks Guy's. Got the tracks and more items on. Plus most of the PE that comes with the kit. Hobby Boss have done a great job here as all fits perfectly so far. A spray of primer and a coat of green and this will be near ready for the decals and weathering. foxy
Starting to think on the decals for this tank.Going for this period. Early. Markings for Russian vehicles was the trend in the early days, during the German Invasion markings tended to be discarded. So for this tank a little more detail.foxy
Andy Moore
It's coming together really well. I like the scheme you're going for, should look great Andy
foxy
Cheers Andy and Kev matey's. After spraying with Vallego Russian green, once dry worked on the turret area. Well masked off with Tamiya tape and sprayed the white, once dry went over again with paint brush to get the wavy effect. Once Klear is dry will put decals that come with the kit on. Used off white Vallego paint for this. Will be using this product to weather, first time tried these. Foxy
Sgt.Squarehead
What a great model, I'd love one (or five) of these in 1/72. Mind you I'm not sure I'd fancy the L&L in 1/72!

foxy
Thanks Beefy mate. Yep was a good and easy build, all went together well and another for my Russian collection of WWII vehicles. A 120mm Mortar and a mobile cooker are on the bench at the mo. Both for towing behind prime movers. But that's another story. foxy
