foxy
Hi. Have all ways wanted to build this vehicle. Had a resin one in 1/72nd but it was in so many pieces(broken) that it was useless,' got me money back'. Had the BM 13 already in the stash, and sore the Vulcan STz-5 on E Bay from MFS, got it cheaper than the asking price. 'Well I digress'. Got so carried away before taking pictures, so bear with me. I started the chassis. Added valego Russian green primer. As you can see from pictures earlier there are metal springs and some etch for this build. Seven springs in all. More later. foxy

foxy
Cheers guy's. Yes this is an interesting conversion and its working out fine, 'so far'. Moved on a touch with the suspension fitted. Made up the Katusha racks and supports. Finished inside the cab and loose fitted. First decals for the dashboard, lovely looking they are, might leave the door open. All coming together nicely. Surprised how quick this build is becoming. foxy
foxy
Cheers Andy . Some more progress to the build. Made up the fuel tanks and mounted main one's on the rear of cab. Built the fender guards for the rear section from 20Thou Pc, 1x1mm and 2x1mm plastic strip. Overall progress so far with track fitted, some weathering later. Some glazing started. foxy

foxy
Thankyou Andy and Fred. Much appreciated. Andy. Have another one of these STZ trucks and may convert into a tank or an ammo carrier for the Kathusha. But at the moment its all Russian built tank kits for now . foxy
