mirageiv
Hi chaps, Just a quick question regarding compatibility. I have an old, 8+years, bottle of white aluminium that is spraying rather 'grainy' as if it is a little short on thinners, so my question being would Mr. Color lacquer thinner (non-leveling stuff) be ok to thin it enough to prevent the grainy texture I'm getting atm? I don't think its a airbrush/pressure issue, all my other alclads spray just fine. Thanks for any help/suggestions! Best regards, David.
old thumper
I'm not sure about the thinners but the new bottle of alclad white aluminium that I have is a little grainy also, maybe it is just the way it is.
Muzz
I had a bottle of Alclad Pale Burnt Metal which wasn't that old (2 - 3 years) which went the same way, as if it's separated. I certainly couldn't rescue it, tried adding cellulose thinners but it made no difference. Muzz
