Beardie
Has anyone had this problem? I have a tin of Humbrol 30 enamel that is pretty new (few months old) and I used it to do a P40c and the darn stuff won't dry. Two weeks and it is still very tacky. I mixed it to within an inch of it's life prior to use so I don't believe this is the issue. I have had tins that take a few days to go off properly Humbrol 26 for example bought at the same time and if memory serves I actually bought these ones direct from Airfix's website, but I have never had one that just won't dry full stop. Black Knight
Yup, had that problem with some Humbrol and Testors paints. I put Terebine Driers in it and overcoat the non-drying paint with a fresh coat.
Beardie
Thanks I hadn't thought of using driers. I do wonder just what is wrong with this paint, did they forget to mix the driers in the batch of oil leaving you with paint that has the drying time of traditional oil paint? Strange one indeed
