hansihaha
Is there any place where you can get decals for a BMI a320/319 in 1/144. I have looked for ages, but I can't seem to find any...
feoffee2
Revell did a kit with them and liveries unlimited did some as well. Also brasil decals. Thanks
hansihaha
I know about the revell kit. I am going to look for the others. Thanks
Whisperjet
The decals from the Revell kit are very nice, particularly the metallic effect on the titles.
hansihaha
Yeah, its the one from revell that I want, but the kit is rather expensive on ebay
XV571
While it's the only sheet that does the 'Whale' and 'interim' livery 737s, the Brasil sheet (BD144-69) frankly isn't very good; for example, the metallic Ocean Blue of the 'bmi' lettering is too pale and the darker blue of the Union flag on the fin is metallic blue when it should be a plain medium blue shade. The Daco designed Revell sheet is far superior in every respect. The only omission is some 'G-MIDx' lettering to allow you to do the A320s. The Liveries Unlimited sheet AGA4-157 is for the 1996 original delivery scheme in medium blue and dark grey. This allows you to do either one of the A320s G-MIDZ and 'DY or any of the A321s, up to the change in branding to bmi in 2001. As you'd expect of Jennings' decal sheets, it's very accurate. Romeo Alpha Yankee
I have the kit and decals, I won't be doing my A319 in the BMI Scheme. Do you have an A319 kit with a different decal sheet? I am happy to trade the decal whole sheet and placement instructions for your decal sheet and instructions if you are interested.
