Hi all

This is my first completed maritime model since I was about 6... and that's a while ago!!

This is the cybermodeller premium edition kit that comes with a nice little etch set.

Out standing. The best HMS Invincible I've seen in this scale. Thank you for posting.

Thanks for all the comments guys... much appreciated..

The seascape is plaster (from Wicks) on a "cut to shape" polystyrene pizza base (the bit that goes under the pizza base).

Once the hull is built, I cover it in cling film, to stop it sticking, place it on the base and roughly work the plaster in with a wet brush.

Once dry, I give it a rub down with sandpaper and seal it in with PVA glue.

Once that's dry, I used (the kids) poster paints, dark blue with then a wash of black, then rough dry brush of grey and a couple of coats of Klear.

The white is matt enamel and the ship is glued in with more PVA...

Thanks again all...

I have the Revel version of one of these in my stash. I can only hope that when I come to build it, it will look as good as this! :goodjob:
