daniele0865 Posted April 11, 2015 Share Posted April 11, 2015 Hi folks, can someone address me to good scale plans for DH.60 Cirrus Moth, DH.60 G Gipsy Moth and DH.60M Metal Moth please? I have the Amodel 1/48 Metal Moth and I suspect that the wing rib spacing is wrong. I'd like to check against reliable plans. From the pictures un the web it looks like the Cirrus Moth wings are different from the subsequent types and probably the Amodel DH.60M wings are the same of the Cirrus Moth instead of having a different rib spacing. John Aero Posted April 13, 2015 Share Posted April 13, 2015 The wing rib spacing is different on all Moths fitted with leading edge slats. The term Metal Moth refers only to the fuselage structure not the wings. which are essentially similar to the later Tiger Moth wing (except for sweep and top wing trailing edge curve on the Tiger).
