basket
Hello all ! Back at the bench to do some reworking .... I was not totally satisfied with my ejection seat and decided to improve it . Remember : The real one , precisely known as Martin Baker Mk4 CM4 has a little busier aspect , especially in terms of harness and oxygen equipment : Some other examples : That's the goal to reach . Let's go : Edited March 7, 2020 by basket
basket
The remove before flight stuff is moved to the right and the old harness is covered with a mixture of CA glue and talc . Then , the harness is built by cutting strips of metal that you find on wine bottles . Buckles are made of styren strips cut with my chopper II . Wax pencil is very useful !!!! Final assembly step and black primer : Then : 00 brush , wet palette and Prince August acryl to reach this point : Now it's time to work on the oxygen system : lead wire Then , business as usual : styren sheet , CA glue , chopper II , tamiya tape and streched Q-tips : Then , painting again , with brighter and darker colors ( the figurine way , more or less ) , then gloss coat , oil paint wash ( dark ) , and flat coat !!!! Remember : this bang seat is the Heller one : To which I finally added 42 extra scratch built parts , to get this final product : TADAAAA ! Feel free to comment ! Cheers !
