pte1643
Guys... Finally got round to finishing this chap, he's only been on the bench for about a year (not bad, eh? ) It's the 120mm Verlinden figure, painted mostly in Vallejo acrylics... Still need to perfect the skill of skintones, but I'm getting there. Hope you enjoy...

kev67
Excellent piece of modelling and very well painted, one thing I am useless at is figure painting, the only thing I would add is the Bayonet, I would imagine in those days the bayonet was used quite a lot against the Zulus
AndrewE
Excellent work. Skin tones look fine to me.
pte1643
Thanks guys... Tricky business is figure painting. I still knock up the odd kit, but figures are my main interest now... Don't take up so much room when finished you see.

Eludia
Nicely done , you've handled the reds and blues very well (not easy colours to work with). Flesh tones look bang on to me as does the wood furniture on the rifle:) Which part of Naaafuk you from, I'm near Lynn and we have a local club. Not many figure painters there, only me in fact but I'm slowly working on the others
