johnny akes
Take one Airfix 1/48 Lightning, one lump of green slate and two clear knitting needles and you have my only model with a man in it and no wheels..... Regards, J A

DAG058
Love it! How did you weather the bare metal? I'm making a 1/72 version of this right now. I took me a while to get into it, now that the paint is going on though I am loving it. It's my first bare metal type aircraft. I wasn't brave enough to try Alclad. I have gently pre-shaded though and it looks not too bad. If it comes out half as nice as yours I will be happy!

acting_strange
Beautiful.....This aircraft will always hold a special place in my heart as it was one of the first I saw at my very first air display...circa 1963 ish...RAF Binbrook...Then as a teenager I tried hard to pinch bits from one used for fire practice at the rear of RAF Swinderby ...Ooooops Naughty wasn't I...lol
